Let the games begin ... and make sure to clean up the body parts when its over. I've been a Blood Bowl fanatic since the days of old. When the nights never ended, the pizza boxes served as a place to role dice, and pewter figurines littered the dining table awaiting their turn to take center stage. For those who aren't familiar with the game. Think football, the american kind, and throw in a bunch of monsters, weapons, spells, and whatever fancies your imagination at the moment. The first electronic rendition of this table top boardgame classic was in 1995. It has now been brought new life by Cyanide Studios and Focus. Thank you for hearing my selfish wishes by the way. With this new life came cutting edge visuals to bring the guts, the gore, and the glory to be as in your face as electronically possible. So moving on to why I'm posting this short blurb to begin with ...
I'm contemplating starting an HNS League to pay homage to this wonderful gift from the folks at Games Workshop. Not sure about the logistics as of yet since I'm still trying to wrap myself around how that would get structured. But check back often for status updates as I iron out the details. For the time being, take a short trip over to the Blood Bowl Game website and check it out for yourself. For those who know, nuf said ... For those that haven't had the privilege, now is the time to give yourself an advanced holiday gift. More to follow ...
